I'm back, baby

After much consideration, I have decided to shut down my website casa-apis.net. I arrived at this decision for lots of reasons: money, time, effort (lack of all three), and complete and utter laziness enabled by Facebook. And considering not everyone can or even wants to access Facebook, I've created this blog as my project dumping grounds. I tried LiveJournal in the past and not only was it too difficult for me to use, but I wound up boring myself trying to come up with stuff to write about. And if I bored myself, who the hell would want to read the crap that bored me?

I'll still post pictures of my work on Facebook; there really is nothing like the instant gratification of someone Liking or commenting on a picture of something I worked so hard on. But this blog will help me wax moronic about my projects and not feel like I'm imposing on my friends' and family members' patience. And it will give those who care an insight into my research and artistic thought processes, as well as track my progress of my various projects. So it's a happy middle ground that I'm curious to trod. I hope you'll join me and find some use for my ramblings, and that we can entertain and support each other along the way.

Ta,
Krista

PS I realize the formatting is way basic. I'm trying to figure out this design thing, so bear with me.

  1. I'm glad you started the blog! I'd much rather go to my blog and click on where I've linked on your blog than look at Facebook. Facebook is evil life and productivity sucking demon spawn. I could have embroidered a Bayeaux Tapestry in the time I've spent on Facebook. Looking forward to seeing more of your work!

  2. Hey, you're one my blogging inspirations, so thank you! I can't say I'm a FB gamer, but I've watched other friends who are and it's scary. FB is mostly just a laziness-inducer for me.

Oh, btw, don't forget to get rid of the link to my website on your blog. It should be down, if not now, then in the very near future.
